BIOGRAPHY

TESS BRENNER grew up in the small town of Eureka, Missouri. She comes from a happy, wacky family of four children and attributes the core of who she is to her childhood times.

AFTER HIGH SCHOOL Tess went on to the Boston Conservatory where her love of performing transformed into a deep passion for the Arts and its uncanny ability to sync audience and actor into one moment to moment, storytelling experience.

IN BOSTON Tess had a wide number of educational and professional opportunities that helped shape her as an artist. Always encouraged and most in her element when working on original theater pieces or classical text, Tess pursued her artistic heart in school in performances such as  Twelfth Night, Machinal, Giovanni's Room (original adaption) and Hair. In her junior year she picked up an apprenticeship with the Commonwealth Shakespeare Company of Boston.

THE BIG MOVE TO NYC happened directly after graduation. Growing accustomed to New York City and learning to find her place in the hustle and bustle was quite the adventure. Tess spent just as many months in New York as she did out of it performing in theater contracts that took her all around the country, even Alaska! Along the way Tess also found a passion for working and sharing her art with students. Tess found a constant balance of performing and educating to be her ticket to success.

SHE DREAMS AND ASPIRES to continually grow in her field, collaborating with creative minds and inspiring herself and others along the way. She is open to wherever this creative journey may take her and can't wait to see how it continues to surprise her. Cheers to art, collaboration, creativity and sharing it all with others.
